Ascension

I was recently asked to do a favor for a friend... you could say I was commissioned to do the work... for a good cause. He wanted an Angel holding on to a dearly departed... and ascending upwards to a place of peace and tranquility.
I did exactly as I was asked and the above works was what I used to do the artwork... although the camera angle and poise was a little different as I did not wish to put up the exact one as it was his exclusively.
However, I did so love the angle and the whole concept and so I decided to put up a variant of that and my own interpretation to the art piece.

So I hope you like the work I have put up.

Please do not see this as me opening up works for commission as I generally do not have much time for that. But this one was special.
