"Legend has it that the Humans and Devanites once lived side by side not only in the same galaxy but in the very same planet. The 3rd of the 9 planets that revolve around a single light source; the Primus System or the first Solar System Man thrived in. It was the only planet within that solar system to have had teeming life force, encouraging proliferation of the homosapien race but, not the proliferation of pollution and toxic chemical wastes.  Even the surrounding planets were not spared the ramification of technological advancement. Therein lies the tragedy... and was the impetus that led to a mass exodus for a different galaxy. The planet was called Earth.

The omniscient Emperor was fully aware of the inevitability of the path that we would find ourselves in. However, unknown to rest of the populace was the necessity of the mass exodus.  The apocalyptic future that our Emperor and the Coven of Seers were privy to was preordained.  To remain would mean the annihilation of the entire race of Man."

UNOFFICIO SCROLL OF LEGENDS VOL.II Chap 12;

"The Prophesy, according to my great predecessor, had several avenues or paths it could take and almost all led to the same conclusion... the extinction of man and eventual demise of the devanites.  It was almost by accident that our God Emperor stumbled upon a single strand of events that led to... a small chance of survival.  This single strand of events, however small a chance, was enough for the Emperor to devise... to create a template of events which ensured a hint of survival the human race, albeit at a terrible cost.

Who or what could trigger such a catastrophic chain of events that led to the extinction of the human race?  Neither the Glorious Emperor then nor his illustrious seers would say. Perhaps, to utter such would have condemned us to a path of certain annihilation."

"The human world was under great turmoil in the Earth Year 9800.  Nations were corrupt and the people suffered much.  From the depths of hell, arose a powerful figure; challenging the old order and eager to rid Planet Earth of the cursed ways.  His coming was prophesied by the Coven of Seers.

Having always been only observers to the human plight, we decided to act for the very first time.  It was in Earth Year 9899 that we decided to come out of hiding and be seen. We became advisers to the humans and their future Emperor. We were privileged to work with Augustus Aurielius.  Not only was he like us a highly gifted seer, he was also a mighty warrior and strategist.  Augustus was a God amongst men and a genius in the lore of science and magik; and under our guidance he became a formidable force not to be denied greatness.

However, I remember him best for his compassion and love for his people. Our first meeting is still vivid in my mind. I was but a young seer then. We fought side by side to great victories and he bestowed friendship to all the devanites and treated us as equals.

The Emperor united Earth in the next 2years."

"Deeply troubled by what lay in the future for men and devanites, the God Emperor devised a plan that would unfurl at the right moment in the future. But for this plan to work, many obstacles would need to be overcome and one of them would require our exodus into the stars as keeper of secrets.

The plan is not without fault and a lot will depend on our descendants and how they will be able to work together. I shall miss Home and my Emperor and friend, but sacrifices must be made for the survival of our races..."
