Unwanted Shading Fix

Sometimes when youload a new model the surface will have this weird dark shaowing often with a vaguely triangle shape. The reason for this is that Daz overcompensates it's smoothing by setting the modifier too high. I have found through a lot of experimentatio that the optimal smoothing angle is not 89.9 but rather 24. You can find this setting in the surfaces tab in the bar marked Angle. Changing this works as well for iRay as it does 3Delight for crisping up your surfaces. Try it and see what you think... then post some feedback here so folks can see your results. The follow me for more tips & tricks .

Fairly Quiet

This is my work flow in photoshop for the below image Products used: Pacific Northwest Botanica - Bundle Victoria 8.1 (+ vellus hair) Build Your Own Sitting Poses Curly Bun Dforce Sweet Mini Dress Skies Of Sylva ___________________________________________________________________________________ This is the image I started out with: I used the field blur with these settings: Blur 29 Light Bokeh 9 Bokeh Colour 11 I used a linear gradient in black to transparent at the bottom of the image to add a bit of darkness I then made some edits to the models face/hair and skin (the skin/make up actions you can get here I always use the 'Auto' feature of Photoshop (sometimes I edit these layers sometimes I don't, depending on what type of look I'm going for) Image>Auto Tone Image>Auto Contrast Image>Colour As you can see it brightened the image up a lot and it now looks a lot more sunny I used a sunlight overlay to create the illusion of the sun on the top left of the image.
